No More Lies

On April 25th Thundercat joined forces with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker to release his first single since 2020. The collaboration on "No More Lies" is the ultimate hybrid of the two artists' distinct sounds - this isn't just one musician being featured on the other's track; it’s a true collaboration.

Thundercat has released several critically acclaimed albums throughout his career, including "The Golden Age of Apocalypse," "Drunk," and "It Is What It Is." These albums have earned him a devoted following among fans and musicians alike.  He consistently collaborates with a wide range of artists, such as Flying Lotus, Kendrick Lamar, and Michael McDonald. These collaborations have resulted in some of the most boundary-pushing and innovative music in recent years.

His songs are a testament to the power of experimentation, collaboration, and individuality in art, and it's no wonder that his influence can be heard in the work of countless other musicians today. He breaks from most popular artists with his ability to blend different genres and styles into his music that flows seamlessly throughout. His ability to effortlessly fuse different genres and styles, from jazz to funk, R&B to electronic, sets him apart from the pack. His bass playing is often the driving force behind his compositions. Many of his songs are also imbued with emotion, humor, and a sense of playfulness that makes them instantly engaging

If you’re looking for a new sound and haven't yet had the pleasure of experiencing Thundercat's music, I highly recommend checking him out. His influence can be heard in the work of countless other musicians today, and he is set to be a true icon of modern music.
